_{A large portion of this course requires that your child creates and maintains a personal reflection blog.  In fact, the blog portion of this course is worth 100 points out of the possible 500 points your child is able to earn in this course.}

_{Many children have not created a web blog on their own before, so this may be a challenge for your child.  While your child creates their web blog, I would like for you to assist them through the process.}

_{The steps you will take are as followed:}

1. _{Go to http://www.tripod.lycos.com/}
2. _{Click on the green button that says Start Now}
3. _{Click on the orange button that says Sign Up}
4. _{Fill out the information below and you are on your way.}
5. _{Once your child creates their blog, submit their blog URL to me through the link on the course forum.}

_{Please Keep in mind that your child's blog must be created no later than Friday, June 2nd so that they can participate in our Module 2 blog activities!}
